Hypoallergenic Dog Breed Cavapoo

The Cavapoo is a cross between a miniature poodle and a medium-sized Cavalier. They range in size from 9 to 14 inches long and weigh between 7 and 18 pounds. Cavaliers do not have parents of toy poodles, their parents are always miniature poodles. Toy poodle lines are bred and therefore have too many inherent health problems.

Brushing cavapoo fur once a week should help keep it in a healthy condition. The Cavapoo dog breed may have existed naturally over the years, but designer breeders in Australia cavapoos for sale began intentionally mixing Cavalier King Charles Spaniels and Poodles in the late 1990s. Kindness to dogs and friendship to people are two completely different things.

Cavapoos barks quite a bit and this is just a common trait in this breed due to its loving and close nature. Cavapoos get along well with their owners and often get upset when separated from their family for long periods of time. This can cause the Cavapoo puppy to develop an incessant bark that can be contained at some level by ignoring exercise or even barking to teach the puppy not to resort to this behavior. A puppy will start barking more as he gets older and before he reaches adulthood around the one-year mark. However, mixed or not, Cavapoos are almost always an incredibly beautiful, friendly, intelligent, playful and gentle dog breed. Absolutely perfect for families with children, the Cavapoo has many excellent features and just a few comments to keep in mind before getting such a puppy.

Cavapoo will reward you with love, affection, loyalty and eternal devotion. In general, Cavapoos are considered friendly and affectionate dogs that are good pets. However, the breed can be sensitive, and smaller dogs can sometimes find young children and boisterous play challenging. Children should be taught to play well with their pet, and as with all dogs, you should always supervise playtime between your Cavapoo and the children to ensure everyone is safe and happy. A cross between a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and a Poodle, these so-called “designer dogs” are sweet in nature, excellent with children and are known as good therapy dogs.

The muzzle is long with a beautiful button nose, while the eyes are most expressive and innocent because they are large, round and wide. The Cavapoo dog has a slightly superior or regal appearance, but is not snobbish; they are friendly dogs with people who want to be close to their families. As puppies, they are irresistible and will choose you instead of you choosing them.
